The folks at Scala.io kindly accepted my talk proposition about time-series for the edition of 2019 in Lyon, and they recently published the recordings.
This was my first talk of this kind, and I’m extremely grateful for them to accept conference newbies like me: as a side-note, you should definitely try applying for conferences, it’s a very nice and rewarding experience.
The talk in itself is about the time-series library we maintain at Sqooba: it covers some of the thinking behind the lib, as well as some general observations on throwing bridges between data scientist and software engineers.
Also, it’s a call for handling problems in a simple and robust maner whenever possible.
And once more, thanks to D.Parret for the presentation’s illustration.
